Abarth to launch an evolution of the 595 sedan and spider range
The Abarth brand is passing through a time of great dynamism in the market. About two months after the launch of the 124 Spider, it is now the turn of the evolution of the 595 range, the natural successor of the car launched in 2008 and marketed worldwide.
It is available in sedan or convertible version with the 595, 595 Turismo and 595 Competizione variants.
The first and the second (the latter has the Garrett Turbine) will mount the 1.4 T-Jet engine with respectively 145 hp and 206 Nm of torque and 165 hp and 230 Nm of torque, while the 595 Competizione produces an output of 180 hp and it is ideal for those looking for the adrenaline in the racing world: specific power of 132 hp/liter and acceleration from 0 to 100 in 6.7 seconds.
All the T-Jet engine variants are coupled to a mechanical 5-speed transmission, but on request can be coupled to the sequential robotised transmission with steering wheel paddles. The updated 595 Abarth range will be in Italian showrooms starting in June.
