Alabama is a candidate to host the new Aston Martin plant
Greg Canfield, secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce, said the Alabama State is well positioned to host the new production plant that Aston Martin should realize in US.
In fact, Alabama was already considered the favored US State by Financial Times as it is already the cradle (in Tuscaloosa) of the Mercedes plant with which the British carmaker has an important alliance.
According to Canfield, Alabama authorities are ready to finance the Aston Martin project with an incentives plan.
The car production in Alabama already exceeds one million units per year thanks to other plants managed by Honda and Hyundai.
