BMW to update its i3 with a range of 200 km
As promised, BMW will update its i3 electric vehicle launching from next summer, an additional version with capacity of lithium-ion batteries increased by 33 kWh. It follows that the range of the car can reach 200 km.
They remain virtually unchanged, however, the performances of the hybrid synchronous electric engine with 170 hp and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. However the i3 with 60 Ah battery will remain on the price list available for over two years.
Even then, however, the i3 was the first car with environmentally financial statements audited by TÜV with tests better than a third compared with a conventional vehicle.
Just to remember that the i3 is produced at the German plant in Leipzig, while in the American factory in Moses Lake (Washington), it is produced the carbon fiber.
