Fiat production at the new Brazilian plant will start from the 1st half of 2015
At the press conference after the shareholders' meeting, CEO Sergio Marchionne revealed information about the future models to be made at a new Brazilian production plant in Pernambuco.
Start of production at the new plant is expected during the first half of next year. Initial production capacity will be 200,000 vehicles per year with models based on the Small Wide architecture that will strengthen Fiat offer in the mid-size passenger car segment. The plant will be erected at Goiana in Brazil's northeast.
