In 2013, the production output of Fiat's factory in Tychy settled at 295,700 cars, which means a 15-percent decrease year-on-year. The decrease is a consequence of transferring assembly of the Panda model from the factory in Poland to Pomigliano.
Despite the downward trend, Fiat remains the market leader in the country. CEO of Fiat Auto Poland, Boguslaw Cieslar, is hoping for a recovery in 2014.
