Finnish Valmet increases production of Mercedes A-Class
Valmet Automotive, the Finnish company with which the Daimler Group signed an agreement in 2012, has launched two-shift operation at the Uusikaupunki Finland plant to increase the Mercedes A-Class production.
The agreement signed two years ago predicted that Valmet Automotive will manufacture over 100,000 A-Class vehicles in Finland during 2013-2016.
The Finnish company has also created the opportunity for 300 new jobs. In term of production, the first shift runs from 6 am to 2.30 pm, the second shift from 2.30 pm to 11 pm.
