Ford: 750 million Euro in Valencia for the future Kuga
Ford announces that it will invest 750 million euros at the Spanish plant in Valencia for the European production of the next generation of Kuga SUV.
The Valencian is one of the most important continental factories and the American carmaker has invested over 3 billion Euros since 2011.
Today, the Kuga assembly accounts for almost 50% of the total production of the plant (the rest is for Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy, Torneo and Transit Connect) and this year SUV sales have already risen by 22 % to nearly 127 thousand units.
Since its inauguration in 1976, the Valencia plant has already produced more than 12 million cars and 16 million engines.
