Ford renews its S-MAX and Galaxy
Ford renews its S-MAX Sport Activity and the Galaxy Vans to offer customers across Europe more elegance, practicality and efficiency.
The two models of the current Ford range are now available, for the first time, also with the EcoBlue 2.0 diesel engine, with capacities from 120 hp to 240 hp and a new 8-speed automatic transmission that adapts the gear to the driving style and it's possible to control it through the elegant and ergonomic knob (Rotary Gear Shift Dial).
The innovative technologies introduced on the two models include the Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, combined with the eight-speed automatic transmission, an improved version of the Blind Spot Information System that signals to the driver when other vehicles are in the so-called "blind corner", now even at greater distances.
In addition, the ClearView Wiper System helps drivers to more effectively clean the dirty windshield through multiple wash jets mounted inside the wiper arm, thereby improving visibility in demanding driving conditions and using the washer fluid in more efficient way.
A standard 4-inch color LCD display now allows to view vehicle information more clearly. Available, as an option, also a customizable 10-inch digital screen with animated analogue-driven trip meter and rev counter.
The sophisticated Active Noise Cancellation technology is now standard on the S-MAX Vignale models, and available on all S-MAX and Galaxy models equipped with the 240hp EcoBlue Bi-Turbo engine, regardless of the equipment.
