<div>Great Wall to open r&d center near Detroit</div>
Through its American Haval Motor Technology division, the Chinese Great Wall will invest 3.5 million dollars to build a research and development center in the suburb Farmington Hills of Detroit, Michigan.
The structure will employ 150 employees within the next five years and the first recruitments will start as early as January 2018.
The center will mainly focus on the environment and security systems, but will also focus on the future functions of autonomous driving.
Great Wall's American Haval division is currently active in the States with a California marketing office.
