Honda’s fourth-generation City surpasses 250,000 units in India
Honda Cars India announced that the fourth generation of the City sedan, launched in January 2014, has surpassed the threshold of 250,000 units registered in the emerging Asian market.
The car benefited from the launch of a diesel engine that has allowed the volumes to reinvigorate, although petrol versions still account for 60% of the total.
City has always been a crucial model for the Indian expansion of the Japanese carmaker, but it is also important at international level.
The fourth generation has already been delivered to about 1 million units, involving China, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.
