Honda starts production of next-generation Jazz in India
Honda has officially started production of its next-generation Jazz hatchback (sold as the Fit in several markets) in India.
The car is assembled at the Tapukara plant, Rajasthan region, and it will also be exported overseas in limited volumes.
The Jazz made in India will be launched in the country in the short time and it will compete with the Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, and Volkswagen Polo. Honda hopes that the new Jazz in India will do better than the previous model with weak sales.
