Honda to unveil prototype of the new European Jazz
Honda has released the first images of the new Jazz prototype that will make its public debut at the upcoming Mondial de l‘Automobile in Paris.
The series model, derived from the concept, will be marketed in Europe starting from summer of next year.
Compared to the current Jazz, the external dimensions have changed with the length being 15 mm longer and the wheelbase 30 mm longer helping to create an even more spacious cabin for luggage and passengers. Inside, the highly versatile Honda Magic Seats solution will also feature in this latest model.
The Japanese carmaker ensures that the future Jazz is set to deliver a more refined and comfortable drive for both the driver and passengers, thanks to a new suspension system.
The new European Jazz will offer improved fuel economy and higher performance thanks to its new Earth Dreams Technology engine.
Under the hood of the new Jazz the new 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine is supported by either a six-speed manual (replacing the previous five-speed unit) or a CVT transmission.
The third generation European Jazz will be built on the basis of Honda's global compact platform.
