Hyundai and Kia grab record-high market share in BRICs
Hyundai and Kia have achieved a record-high market share in the BRIC nations.
In the first five months of this year, the combined market share of the two Korean carmakers in Brazil, Russia, India and China reached 11.2% due to a growth in sales volumes of 7.2% to a total of 1,149,553 units.
Hyundai sold 802,916 cars in BRICs up 6.9 percent year on year. Kia also enjoyed a 7.9-percent growth in sales to 346,637 units.
