Hyundai Kona Electric: range up to 470 km
Hyundai unveiled the new Kona Electric that we will admire as world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. The Korean company becomes the first carmaker to offer a B-segment compact zero-emission SUV on the markets.
The electric variant of Kona is offered with two different electrical systems, guaranteeing customers the widest choice available.
The base version with the 39.2 kWh battery and the 135 hp engine ensures a range of up to 300 km on a single charge, while the "long-range" allows to reach up to 470 km thanks to the 64 kWh battery and the engine with 204 hp (acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 7.6 seconds).
The shift-by-wire transmission allows an intuitive operation of the electric powertrain and the regenerative braking system, already present on the EV version of Ioniq, allows to maximize the energy recovery during braking. Numerous and advanced driver assistance and connectivity systems.
