Mazda to expand its SUV offer in Japan
Mazda aims to expand its offer of sports utility models in Japan to ride the wave of the growing success of this segment in Japan.
The Hiroshima carmaker has announced that it will launch a new CX-3 compact SUV petrol variant in August, and it will launch the new CX-8 by the end of the year.
Last year, SUVs in Japan accounted for an upward market share of 12.5% for a total of 604,760 units. At present, the Mazda SUV Japanese range is articulated on CX-3, CX-5 and Flair Crossover.
