McLaren introduces 50 units of its 650S Le Mans
The McLaren Special Operations (MSO) department produced 50 units, all coupes, of the 650S Le Mans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the famous McLaren F1 GTR win at the classic French endurance race. At the development of the supercar has also collaborated Peter Stevens, the designer of the legendary McLaren F1.
The 650S Le Mans is powered by the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 650 hp engine. Extensive use of carbon fiber but also the ‘Le Mans Edition’ lightweight wheels (19-inch front/20-inch rear) and the carbon-ceramic brakes. Inside, the vehicle features black leather and Alcantara. Pricing starts at 244,500 pounds and deliveries will start in mid-2015.
