Montezemolo at the Ferrari Summer Centre
President Montezemolo and Scuderia Ferrari test driver Marc Gené visited 650 children, who sang and danced in honour of the guests, at the Ferrari Summer Centre.
This is the fifth year of the Ferrari Summer Centres and it continues to grow: there were only 100 children taking part in 2010, while there are over 650 this year.
Every day, from 7.30 to 20.30, Ferrari employees can leave their children from the ages of 3 to 14 in the hands of 80 education professionals and the service is free of charge.
“I am very keen on this initiative that is an amazing example of company welfare and a well run collaboration with local institutions,” said Montezemolo. “All those involved in the organization have done an extraordinary job.” Before leaving the Centre, the President thanked the Mayor and the parish priest of Maranello.
