New Honda Civic for Europe produced at the Swindon plant
The first unit of the tenth generation of the Civic for Europe has been produced at the Honda British plant in Swindon.
The car is already available as known in the North American market. The Swindon factory is the global production hub of the Civic hatchback, and it will be the base for exporting to more than 70 international markets.
To adapt the system for the start of production of the new Civic, Honda has invested 200 million pounds bringing to 2.2 billion pounds the total investment spent by Honda at the plant since 1989.
