Nissan Leaf has already covered 1 billion kilometers
The owners of the Nissan Leaf have already travelled for 1 billion kilometers worldwide saving over 180 million kg of CO2 emissions.
An important milestone, achieved in almost four years after its debut on the market for the best-selling electric vehicle in the world with more than 147,000 units, 31.000 of which in Europe.
Nissan was able to calculate precisely the total distance travelled by Leaf models thank to an innovative telemetric technology made by CarWings.
The threshold of 1 billion km, as recalled by the President of Nissan Europe, Paul Willcox, was exceeded ahead of the original scheduled time that was forecasted by 2015.
