Nissan urges UK to remain in the EU
Nissan officially asks the UK Government to remain in the European Union. As is known, on June 23 there will be the long-awaited referendum now estimated very uncertain.
A possible exit from the EU, according to Nissan, would have serious negative effects on local economic activity of the Japanese carmaker that in UK employs over 8,000 employees.
Nissan production center in the UK is the Sunderland factory producing 475,000 vehicles a year, 80% of which are exported.
