Nissan will bring Datsun in other markets to make an urgent relaunch
The return of the Datsun brand, that Nissan revitalized after more than 30 years, has not for the moment made the results initially expected.
The brand, with its Go, Go + and on-Do models, is currently operating in the emerging markets of India, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa, but it needs an immediate relaunch and above all to start operations in other countries to compensate the investments made.
A fifth market is already a reality, but it is the unappetizing Nepal. The real new commercial outlets could be other states of the former Soviet Union, but also the most promising Latin America and Asia/Pacific.
Datsun is having problems especially in India (the brand did not pass the standard crash test) and without a return to positive sales we could talk about a real failure.
