Produced 1 million fourth-generation Panda
Fiat celebrates the production of the first millionth fourth generationPanda of the G. Vico plant in Pomigliano d'Arco, Campania region.
The milestone model is a City Cross 1.2 version of 69 hp for the Italian market and characterized by white livery and off-road look.
The fourth generation Panda series was launched at the end of 2011, but in general the car started its commercial career in 1980 with a total output of over 7.5 million units.
Panda is now the only model in its segment to offer four engines (gasoline, diesel, gasoline/methane and gasoline/LPG), three configurations (Urban look, City Cross and 4x4), two tractions (front and AWD) and two manual and Dualogic robotic transmission.
For 5 years, Panda is the most sold car in Italy and since 2016 it is also the European bestseller of its category.
