Record sales for Lexus Europe in the first quarter
Lexus has established its new sales record in Europe with regard to the first quarter.
Sales from January to March in fact increased by 16% compared to the same period a year ago to a total of 18,058 vehicles as part of a premium continental market that grew less than Lexus (+ 10%).
To support Lexus Europe sales are mainly those new or revamped models launched in the second half of 2016 as the RX, GS F, RC and GS (in Western Europe) and LX and ES (in Eastern Europe).
Lexus bestseller model remains the NX with over 6,300 units sold in the first quarter, but it goes very well even the fourth generation RX, with sales up 114% to 4,000 cars.
The really heart of Lexus offer in Europe is of course the hybrid range which has gained 14% to over 12,000 units.
