Renault Kwid to debut in Brazil during August
Renault will launch its Kwid economy model also in Brazil from next August, following a local official presentation that will be held on next June 9th.
Produced at the Indian plant in Chennai, Kwid will be assembled in Brazil, but with most of the components coming from the Indian factory.
The Kwid made in Brazil, slightly lighter than the variant sold in India, will be exported to Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.
The production plant of the car in Brazil will be the São José dos Pinhais factory that also builds Captur, Duster and Duster Oroch.
Kwid will compete in Brazil with Volkswagen Gol, Ford Ka, Chevrolet Celta and Nissan March.
