Skoda plans fresh cars every six months
While limiting the decline to 2% for a total of 920,800 cars sold (and despite the good trend in December), Skoda was the only brand of the Volkswagen Group to make losses in 2013.
The Czech carmaker, however, is ready to launch a real product offensive in order to boost registrations.
Skoda in fact plans to offer a new or revised model every six months on average until 2016. The stated objectives are twofold: to increase global sales to 1 million units by the end of this year and reach the threshold of the 1.5 million units by 2018.
