Skoda sales steadily rising in Russia
Skoda is riding the wave of re-enthusiasm of Russian consumers who are allowing the local market to leave behind the prolonged crisis of the last four years.
The Czech carmaker sales recorded in May a growth of 5.9% compared with the same month of 2016 to 4,985 cars, bringing the total of the first five months to 23,045 units, an increase of 4.3%.
The 4% market share is also great, allowing Skoda to be firmly in the top ten of the most popular brands in the country. The Skoda Russian bestseller model is Rapid ahead of Octavia and Superb.
