A Techrules Ren EV Supercar on display in Villa d’Este
Techrules, a China-based automotive research and development company, chose the upcoming 2017 edition of the Concorso d'Eleganza at the Villa D'Este (May 26-28) to showcase its first electric supercar as Italian premieres to then make it a production series model.
This is Ren, from the aerospace inspiration inspired by the pencils of Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro.
The car offers unbeatable performances between the supersport models with the innovative technology of a hybrid powertrain with turbine generator.
The final stages of the rigorous development program and the Techrules Ren vehicle tests were followed by L.M. Gianetti of Turin and the first deliveries of the race track version are scheduled for 2018 when the production will start.
The car, premiered at the recent Geneva Motor Show, features the top-of-the-range version with a 25 kWh battery, 1,305 hp and 1,170 km autonomy, using the 80 liter diesel fuel tank.
