Toyota to increase exports of its Made in Brazil vehicles
The carmaker's operations manager in Latin America, Steve St. Angelo, announced that Toyota will significantly increase exports of its vehicles produced in Brazil.
Until now oriented only toward neighboring Argentina, the export of Toyota models Made in Brazil will involve practically all the markets in South America, starting from Peru where it will debut soon several units of the Corolla (now imported by the American factories).
At a later time, Uruguay and Paraguay will receive as a dowry not only the Corolla, but also the Etios compact, and later this year it will also be involved Chile and Colombia.
Last year, the export of Toyota from Brazil grew by 10% to 43,000 units of the 176,000 vehicles assembled in the country.
