Toyota to invest 126 million dollars to expand powertrain operations in Michigan
Toyota is relocating numerous operations around the U.S. in the wake of its decision to move its North American headquarters from California to Texas.
The Japanese carmaker will invest 126 million dollars to expand its powertrain operations in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
About 85 jobs will relocate to Ann Arbor from Toyota’s powertrain facility in Gardena, California, by the end of 2016. Toyota will also consolidate the new center of York Township, Michigan.
