Toyota plans to produce over 10 million vehicles also in 2015

The Toyota Group plans to produce this year more than 10 million vehicles. The new target would make this the third consecutive year of surpassing the automaker's 10-million mark.
In detail, according to the Nikkei, the Colossus of Nagoya (including its subsidiaries Daihatsu and Hino) plans to produce about 10.2 million vehicles during 2015.
The rhythms of assembly are set to fall slightly in Japan to 3.1 million units and to grow slightly in China to 1.1 million units.
However, the automaker plans to boost manufacturing in North America, with output potentially reaching 2.3 million units for the year.
As for sales, head to head race between Toyota and VW for the production leadership.
